There are typographical conventions when writing mathematics, for instance: variables are usually written in italics, while standard functions are written in upright letters. MathType has the mode Automatic italic (autoitalics) to ease the writing of the formulas to follow these conventions. Autoitalics is ON by default.

When pasting MathML from an external source, there are a few things to keep in mind that may affect the final result. MathType converts input MathML to an internal model which the editor uses, and another conversion is done when it exports the final MathML. Thus the input and output MathML may differ. Here are some general guides on what to expect:

In versions older than 3.5x.x the default mode was the image mode (formulas were saved as img tags). You can enable the image mode in newer versions if you need it adding this variable in your configuration.ini file:

MathType is a popular mathematical and science formula editor with classical and handwriting input modes. You can use it to create math equations or chemical formulas right inside the CKEditor 5 content.

Fortunately, MathType introduces the full MathML mode that handles the unsupported markup and converts it into a form that can be properly recognized by browsers. You can read more about the full MathML mode in the documentation.

MathType automatically applies spacing as you type according the rules of mathematical typesetting. This involves 6 different space widths, none of which are the width of a normal space. Since people are so used to hitting the spacebar while typing, we disable it when math is being entered. However, MathType also has a Text mode which allows you to type in a plain English phrase or sentence in the middle of an equation. And, of course, the spacebar works in Text mode.

MathType is a math editor that stores expressions in MathML and shows images in the view mode. MathML is an XML standard defined by W3C to represent mathematics, but MathML is not part of the HTML specification. Hence, integrating a tool that inserts MathML into an HTML editor presents some unique challenges.

Return the multi-head attention result with weights, queries, keys, and values, overwriting out if provided, according to keyword arguments or the attention descriptor d. The multi-head attention model can be described by the following equations:
