After the recent Nicehash update, my AV Norton 360 has been blocking a raw.githubusercontent.com access by Nicehash. It says System Infected: Trojan.Backdoor Activity 555 and it blocks the call. I think it's also why my video card has been running hot. I think Nicehash is trying to get a file from github but Norton sees it as a threat. And because Nicehash cant get a needed file, it's stopped working now completely.


I added all the exceptions to Norton to all Nicehash to run but this other githubusercontent call is still causing issues. In fact, now when I mine it says I'm mining but I'm at zero speed. I've tried to whitelist that perceived threat too but it isn't working.


Note to all devs that are eager to include parts of code into their miner: cuda_djezo project is released under GPL 3.0 license, which means that you cannot use this code as a base or parts of the code to create closed source fee based miner. If you do that, you violate license terms.

I think this is the URL : Releases  ocminer/nheqminer-djezo  GitHub I also tested and i get about 385 Sol from 1070, but looks like my GPU is very relaxed, 52 Temp, Fan 12%. for sure this can be improved very good.

The data is available here: If QuickMiner is unable to download data, then you would get this error when trying to apply OPTIMIZE profile. Make sure that nothing is blocking your access to GitHub and that QuickMiner can freely download data from the internet.
