I read in an article that subwoofers should be set 6 to 10 decibels lower than the PA speakers. I adjust the sound of my PA speakers to -18 decibels using one of my favorite songs in the mixer and then adjust the volume of the speakers accordingly. However, adjusting the subwoofers by listening seems difficult to me, so I'm considering adjusting the subwoofers to be 6 decibels lower than the PA speakers using an inexpensive decibel meter, only measuring the difference between them. Is it correct, or do you have a better method to balance these two? Thanks.

(2) The eight-hour time-weighted average sound level (TWA), in decibels, may be computed from the dose, in percent, by means of the formula: TWA = 16.61 log10 (D/100) + 90. For an eight-hour workshift with the noise level constant over the entire shift, the TWA is equal to the measured sound level.

When you configure the Noise app on Apple Watch and connect compatible headphones, Control Center shows you if the sounds playing through the headphones reach unsafe levels.11 And all your information is stored securely in the Health app on iPhone for easy access to your data whenever you need it.


That needs to be done using a video editor like VLC. Go to Tools > Preferences [CTRL + P]. Under Show settings, select the option that says All to switch to the advanced preferences. Navigate to Input/Codecs > Subtitle codecs > Subtitles. Under Text subtitle decoder set, the Subtitle justification to left, right or center.






To order translated subtitles, you can upload your file like you would normally do. You can then select manual subtitling. Once you have selected this, an option will appear where you will be able to select the language the subtitles need to be translated to. It's the OSD, sometimes the text disappear because you change the subtitle font. On Mac some font will not show, specifically ones that are not English. You will have to choose between displaying your subtitle in foreign languages or displaying the OSD text.


Compression is done by detecting the volume above a chosen levelthreshold and dividing it by the factor set with ratio.So if you set the threshold to -12dB and your signal reaches -6dB a ratioof 2:1 will result in a signal at -9dB. Because an exact manipulation ofthe signal would cause distortion of the waveform the reduction can belevelled over the time. This is done by setting "Attack" and "Release".attack determines how long the signal has to rise above the thresholdbefore any reduction will occur and release sets the time the signalhas to fall below the threshold to reduce the reduction again. Shorter signalsthan the chosen attack time will be left untouched.The overall reduction of the signal can be made up afterwards with themakeup setting. So compressing the peaks of a signal about 6dB andraising the makeup to this level results in a signal twice as loud than thesource. To gain a softer entry in the compression the knee flattens thehard edge at the threshold in the range of the chosen decibels.


These define an exclusion band which excludes the lines between y0 andy1 from being included in the field matching decision. An exclusionband can be used to ignore subtitles, a logo, or other things that mayinterfere with the matching. y0 sets the starting scan line andy1 sets the ending line; all lines in between y0 andy1 (including y0 and y1) will be ignored. Settingy0 and y1 to the same value will disable the feature.y0 and y1 defaults to 0.


To enable compilation of this filter you need to configure FFmpeg with--enable-libass. This filter also requires a build with libavcodec andlibavformat to convert the passed subtitles file to ASS (Advanced SubstationAlpha) subtitles format.


In the top row of text fields, you can give your application a title, subtitle, and an introduction paragraph. The title and subtitle will be visible on every page of the prototype application. The introduction text will only be visible on the home page.


While using headphones with iPad, you can use Hearing in Control Center to check their current decibel level. AirPods, EarPods, and many other wired and wireless headphones are compatible with Hearing in Control Center.
