7zipper File Explorer Apk Download

Just uninstalled winrar to switch to 7zip, but I noticed I don't even need 7zip to open zip files. Is there any reason for using 7zip for opening zip files then? File explorer seems to be working fine for that purpose.


7zip files compressed with LZMA2 compression method does not extract in Solid but able to extract in other file explorers. Once I changed compression method to LZMA, it extracts fine in Solid. Please fix or include LZMA2 support.

Is there a way to integrate .7z files like .zip files in Windows explorer. Where (like .zip) you double click the .7z file and the directory is opened in the explorer. Providing a password for encrypted archives.


Steps to reproduce:

Open a zip file containing files by clicking on it. 

7zip opens the archive in the 7zip file manager

User double clicks on an file (xml, text etc). 

It appears 7zip extracts the file (to a temporary location)

The program associated with file type (in the case of xml files, Internet Explorer) opens.

The browser indicates "page cannot be displayed"

Looking at the path in the address bar I see that the browser is trying to open C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp\6\7zO51DD.tmp\filename.xml

Trying to use windows explorer to navigate to "C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp\6\7zO51DD.tmp\" does not work. It appears this folder has been deleted (either by the OS or 7zip?)


I can drag and drop image files from 7Zip or decompressed to the "Drag and drop images here to add them to the mock" box in Pholio or comments box elsewhere. I can not do so from the "Compressed Folder Tools" tab of windows explorer.
