Spider Solitaire is a variation of classic solitaire where you have to place 104 cards into four foundations by sorting them in a tableau. There are three difficulty levels in Spider Solitaire with 1 Suit being the easiest, 2 Suits being medium difficulty, and 4 Suits being the hardest.

Winning solitaire games generally requires a degree of skill and luck. There are hundreds of different solitaire game variations. Each solitaire variation has different rules and different ways to win. In Spider Solitaire, not all hands are winnable, no matter what you do. There are strategies that can increase the probability of winning, depending on the game.

Spider Solitaire, also known as Microsoft Spider Solitaire[1] (Spider in the About box in some versions), is a solitaire (NA)/patience (EU) card game that is included in Microsoft Windows.[2] It is a version of Spider. As of 2005[update], it was the most played game on Windows PCs, surpassing the shorter and less challenging Klondike-based Windows Solitaire.[3]

Golden Spider Solitaire is one of the most popular versions of spider solitaire. It has been available for a very long time as a Flash game, and now it is also available in HTML5. This means you don't need to download or install anything, you can just instantly play Golden Spider Solitaire in your browser. Make in-suit runs from King to Ace to clear them from the tableau. Do this eight times to win the game. More detailed rules are explained within the game and below.

When you are stuck, you can press the stock to deal one extra face-up card to each tableau pile. Unlike the regular spider solitaire rules, in Golden Spider Solitaire you can do this when there are empty columns. In the regular spider solitaire dealing extra cards from the stock is only allowed when there are no empty columns.

Hi all...I know this is not a highly technical question but my folks are addicted to this game and I can't get it to work on their computer. I was down there over the weekend and installed some more memory to their computer. All worked fine and I even played a couple games of solitaire to make sure all was working fine. My grandson then played a few rounds of Pinball and then my dad played Spider on Sat. night and Sunday morning. When they got home on Sunday evening, they could not get the Spider Solitaire to come up on the desktop. It would come up as a button on the taskbar but when they clicked on it, it would not load on the desktop. If they did a right click and selected close, it would ask them if they wanted to save the game (even though they had not played it yet). I told her to say no and it closed but when they tried to open it again, it did the same thing. I then told her to say yes and try it that way, but it didn't do any good. I then talked them though the steps to remove it from the windows components and even had them shut the computer down and restart before we added the game back with the add/remove programs, etc. Each time it would do exactly the same as before, except now when she would click on it in programs, it would only bring up the window where you chose the difficulty level and when she would chose, it would close that window but no spider would be on the desktop.

The origins of the game are a little hazy. One of the first documented references to the word "solitaire" was in a 17th-century engraving featuring Anne-Joulie de Rohan-Chabot, Princess Soubise, playing solitaire. However, this was a different game as it used pegs instead of cards.

Classic Solitaire, also known as klondike solitaire, is arguably the most popular form of solitaire today. Moreover, it's the version you can find on nearly every Microsoft computer since 1990, further cementing its place in modern culture.

After shuffling, here's how you play:Deal 28 cards in seven piles across your table. The first pile would have one card; the second one would have two; the third pile would have three, and so on. The top card on each pile stays facing up, while the others are face-down cards. The rest of the cards will rest on a stock pile in your upper left hand.

The four aces in the deck will serve as the foundations that you place in a row above your initial 28 cards as soon as they become available.

You can place any movable card on another one that is higher in rank and with the opposite color. For example, you can play a red four on a black five. If more than one card is face up on a pile, you can move them together. If there is an empty space on the tableau, only a king can fill it.The player may use the cards on the stock pile to help them build sequences. You win after all the card are placed in the foundation.3 Tips and Reminders for Winning at SolitaireOne of the best ways to improve your solitaire-playing skills is by educating yourself about gameplay strategies.

2. Is Solitaire easy to learn?

The rules of solitaire are pretty simple to understand, especially if one already has experience playing card games. Developing a winning strategy is the more challenging part.

3. Is it possible to win every game of Solitaire that you play?

The short answer is no. Some variations could be easier to win than others. Still, it's improbable that every game of solitaire could be winnable, especially considering the randomness of the cards and the sensitivity of each move.

The object of the game is to remove all the cards from the board, but there are many different ways to do this. There are also different levels of difficulty, so addiction-solitaire is a game that can be enjoyed by everyone.
