<div>The soundtrack to the film The Terminator was released in 1984. The fi=
rst six tracks of the soundtrack make up the Terminator score. The second h=
alf is performed by various artists and has been described as synthesizer-b=
ased and dance-oriented pop rock. The songs by Tahnee Cain & Tryanglz conta=
in hard rock rhythm guitar. "Pictures of You" has an emphasis on synthesize=
r and differs from Jay Ferguson's hit songs. "Intimacy" has been described =
as "latter-day new wave and primitive, early techno".[7]</div><div></div><d=

<div></div><div>The German record company Edel AG licensed the rights to re=
lease Fiedel's score without the songs in the film in 1994.[11] Fiedel agre=
ed to having the album released but asked to be consulted on the studio ses=
sions.[11] Fiedel stated that the label guaranteed him he would have "final=
say and be involved in the final mixes" which "didn't happen."[11] Fiedel =
expressed that this left him feeling "quite betrayed on that, because this =
was my work."[11] This remastered edition containing only Fiedel's score en=
titled The Definitive Edition (alternatively The Definite Edition on some v=
ersions) was released on August 22, 1995 through Edel AG. This edition cont=
ained a 73-minute running time and included a bonus track the "Judgment Day=
Remix" of "Theme from The Terminator." The liner notes of the album contai=
ned extensive annotations for each track.[12] Milan Records released a rema=
stered version of the score on April 8, 2016.[13][14]</div><div></div><div>=
</div><div>Online music database AllMusic praised the score of the film, re=
ferring to it as an "underrated highlight" of The Terminator and referred t=
o it as a "marvelous synthesizer score". The review stated that the second =
half of the album featuring the pop songs was "generic".[7] The review prai=
sed the "Definitive Edition" version of the album which featured the entire=
film score, opining that it "comprises some of the best science fiction-or=
iented film music of recent decades."[12]</div><div></div><div></div><div>I=
got a fantastic opportunity to try/demo the Denafrips Terminator Plus DAC =
at my home with my equipment. There are plenty of reviews and YouTube video=
s explaining the various features of the DAC, the differences between the P=
LUS version and the regular terminator, hence I am not going to go into any=
of those details. I am not really good at writing long reviews. So I am go=
ing to keep it short and give my humble opinion in a few bullet points.</di=
v><div></div><div></div><div>1. I strongly believe Synergy between your equ=
ipment is extremely important. My Preamp, Poweramp, speakers (at the time o=
f my testing), interconnect cables are all Von Gaylord Audio components (Ye=
s I am in love with VG components). I wanted a DAC that would gel well with=
my equipment. Denafrips TP (terminator plus) was a perfect match.</div><di=
v></div><div></div><div>2. The female vocals were beautiful, natural and we=
re delivered with ease. The song "That wasn't me" by Brandi Carlile is a pe=
rfect example of what I am talking about. The clarity in the voice was more=
like watching a 8k movie, if you know what I mean. It brought a smile in m=
y face.</div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></=
div><div>3. The sound stage was magnificent. Try "Liberty" by Annette Ashvi=
k. The little squeaky crackles that you hear literally made me turn my head=
to see if someone was opening a door. I should say the sound stage got wid=
er and the instruments were clearer and were placed exactly where they were=
supposed to me. I must attribute this to the super accurate ultra low nois=
e OCXO clock present in the DAC and its implementation. Over the period of =
time, Ive come to realize that a good clock makes a big difference in provi=
ding a wide expansive sound stage. I am not a very technical person, but I =
believe upgraded power supply helps reduce audio signal contamination and p=
robably contributes to the big sound stage as well.</div><div></div><div></=
div><div>But what I mean is almost all of the audio sounds like ADR. And th=
e voices (for lack of a better term) sound like they are very low bitrate. =
I suppose in analog terms it would be equal to if they were using very low =
quality recording medium like cheap tape. It seems like the ADR mics were p=
robably good but the playback is quite muffled for some reason.</div><div><=
/div><div></div><div>i am using the jorma from my soundaware d300ref stream=
er to my gaia (both streamer and gaia are clocked with the terra) then and =
highly recommended tubulus argentus hdmi cable to my terminator plus. the r=
esults are stunning.</div><div></div><div></div><div>Hello Christian</div><=
div></div><div>very successful review Thank u</div><div></div><div>I am usi=
ng denafrips termi plus and hermes ddc. These are very good combo. I want t=
o upgrade denafrips terminator plus. What would u reccomend after denafrips=
tp.</div><div></div><div></div><div>To create the distinct sound that carr=
ies the score, Fiedel used two Fairlight CMI audio samplers and overlaid nu=
merous instruments, blending technology and conventional orchestration to s=
tartling effect and creating a tense, claustrophobic atmosphere that serves=
the film to brilliant effect.</div><div></div><div></div><div>Related Tags=
