Is TurboTax's activation server down? on TAX DAY!!

I needed to file amended returns for 2019 and 2020. I have been a TurboTax customer for decades. My old computer died and so I needed to re-load the software. Everything was fine until it said I needed to activate it. I get a blank screen with no way to enter my activation code. This is true for 2019 and 2020 TT and for several attempts. I'm so frustrated I can scream. I've paid for my software, have only installed once or twice before and yet I can't activate it. I tried calling TT support, but they seem to want money from me to let me talk to a real person. Their AI phone answering software is totally useless. Do they allow activation of TT for only one or or two years back? Is there a way to talk or chat with support without paying them?
