One other idea is to take a look at one of the securities that you have downloaded the prices for in the immediate past, and in the security list ensure there is a price with the last attempted update date. That would indicate that some connection is being made and recorded. Then look at the investing portfolio screen and see if indeed that price and number of shares are being processed correctly with today's date.
