I should qualify that statement. If the real-world loan account is a HELOC, and the financial institution has agreed to download the loan transactions to Quicken; the Quicken account will be a credit-card account, and it WILL contain transactions. Deleting such an account will delete its transactions. But downloads to a HELOC account setup as a Quicken credit card account will NOT hide the account register; all transactions in the register will be visible, and can be selected and copied to another account.
