scheduled transactions loose info when entered

This has been happening on and off for months.

Certain scheduled transactions are correct when view under "edit", but 
when the transaction is entered and current dollar amount or memo 
information changed, the category information is lost (the tag remains).

So, for example scheduled as:

income-rent:maintenance/property:tenant

becomes when recorded:

property:tenant

I have validated the file, but no joy.

Any thoughts?
