JOB SUMMARY
A Database Administrator is responsible for the implementation, configurati=
on, maintenance and performance of the database servers to ensure availabil=
ity and consistent performance of our applications. The role requires to ha=
ve a good understanding in Oracle Database administration activities that i=
nclude RMAN, RAC, ASM & Data Guard. They are also responsible for planni ng=
 of Production Storage and Capacity Management. A DBA needs to collaborate =
with the clients and internal teams to troubleshoot the issues conforming t=
o client compliances and expectations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
=E2=80=A2	Design, implement and operate databa se systems for performance a=
nd reliability.
=E2=80=A2	Create databases, logical models and build physical models
=E2=80=A2	Install, manage and upgrade Oracle 10g and 11g RAC databases on U=
nix platforms according to OFA model
=E2=80=A2	Configure and administer the Oracle 10g 11g Automatic Storage Man=
agement (ASM) and RMAN backups along with production and development databa=
ses, ensuring maximum availability
=E2=80=A2	Clone development databases from PROD using RMAN and BCVs and con=
duct database migrations
=E2=80=A2	Engage in Oracle Dat abase DBA related daily maintenance tasks

Skills Required:
MS SQL Server, Oracle 10g ,11g RAC databases
Roles:
=E2=80=A2	App DBA should have SQL programming, Data modeling experience.
=E2=80=A2	Experience on DB stored procedure optimization and performance tu=
ning
=E2=80=A2	SSIS package deployment and Database structure changes deployment=
s t o non-prod and prod environment
=E2=80=A2	Experience in advanced SQL and SSIS optimization technique
=E2=80=A2	Knowledge in java
