https://www.ghacks.net/2022/09/18/lastpass-provides-details-on-august-2022-hack/ This is an example of why I never use password managers. I use PGP to encrypt a text file holding all my passwords. Just make sure you know how to create a passphrase, not a password. How hard is it to create one like - This phrasepass dangit - protecks Me. Run that through an online password checker and see it would take an eternity to hack it. It ain't that hard to create one. Uppercase, Lowercase, Punctuation and a Number. Mispelling a word helps. I left out the Number, but it's still safe for a LONG time. https://www.passwordmonster.com/ Take the Password Test Tip: Stronger passwords use different types of characters Show password: Very Strong 37 characters containing: Time to crack your password: 3 trillion trillion years
