The following site systems roles uninstall and reinstall when .NET is upgra=
ded. During site update, site component manager removes the role, and then =
updates .NET. If a restart is required, it sends status message 4979. After=
 restart, site component manager reinstalls the role with the new .NET vers=
ion. The role could be unavailable while it waits for you to restart the se=
rver.

In MEMCM/SCCM, a boundary is a network location on the intranet that can co=
ntain one or more devices that you want to manage. Boundaries can be an IP =
subnet, Active Directory site name, IPv6 Prefix, or an IP address range, an=
d the hierarchy can include any combination of these boundary types. To use=
 a boundary, you must add the boundary to one or more boundary groups. Boun=
dary groups are collections of boundaries. By using boundary groups, client=
s on the intranet can find an assigned site and locate content when they ha=
ve to install software, such as applications, software updates, and operati=
ng system images.
A boundary does not enable clients to be managed at the network location. T=
o manage a client, the boundary must be a member of a boundary group. Simpl=
e Boundaries on do nothing, they must be added to one or more boundary grou=
ps in order to work.

Before you update to version 2107, if you restrict internet access, confirm=
 that the site system that hosts the service connection point role can comm=
unicate with the following internet endpoint: configmgrbits.azureedge.net. =
This endpoint was already required, but its use is expanded in this release=
. The site system can't download version 2107 or later unless your network =
allows traffic to this URL.

Just thought i would add that im seeing problems with this if you are deplo=
ying autodesk software to Your machines. As you can see from the links belo=
w you will actually have to make sure to uninstall the redistributable from=
 the machine before running the installation of Autocad.

 Update. This was because of earlier customer feedback around potentially b=
reaking apps. This feedback was centered around .NET Framework major/minor =
feature updates (for example going from 4.5 to 4.8) which installed in-plac=
