Hello, apologize in advance if that is the wrong group or it was posted already. I search around extensively but I did not found much. I want to share some of my git repo in read only mode, but for personal reason I don't want to use existing web apps provider like github or gitlab and the like. People should be free to fork it but I want to maintain the repo with simple "git am" and friend that are more than enough for me. I did some research and some cloud providers are the usual suspect Oracle Cloud Google Cloud etc. etc. I planning to use unauthenticated read only git daemon, and I more than happy to get a vm that has some disk space and network ip and be hosted somewhere, I can maintain that. One concern is that many free tier will charge you if you run of out quota on traffic, cpu end the like. I would like to have a hard cap or being throttle, no problem. Anyone have some working setup or suggestion, or maybe is a bad idea :) apologize in a advance for the babbling bix
