Now that's stupid, one would think they'd try to entice users "ok, now
you have to create an account and log in but we promise old.reddit.com
will always remain operational".

(I've only started to see the impact of this on recent days, I
think. old.reddit.com now indeed doesn't load the content. It doesn't
even load a login form, though...)
