Carlos is not a bad person. He just thinks he is right. Because all the 
people he know think the same way.

He has never stopped to seriously think about any of it.

Fire example I too, took global warming for granted, till the windmills 
started to appear.
As a fully qualified electrical engineer and experience of accountancy 
and finance, I couldn't believe what I was seeing. You only needed to do 
a few calculations on the back of an envelope to see that of all the 
most useless ways to reduce atmospheric CO2, windmills and solar panels 
were it.

No one ever did that back of the envelope calculation, not till recently 
anyway.


And then the EU, bless its corrupt  little cotton socks, ruled that 
instead of a carbon tax, on fuel, there would be a 'renewable 
obligation' thereby ruling out the most obvious and cost effective route 
to decarbonisation. Nuclear power.

At that point I realised that 'renewable' energy at least, and quite 
possibly 'man made climate change' itself, were politically and 
commercially convenient lies.

They had to be, after Al Gore called it all an inconvenient truth And he 
was a politician...
