We lnew a girkl onec. Nice goirl. She was going out with a 55 year old man.

As she walked into a room with out him  for an even party I glanced up 
and in a rare moment of candours asked 'where's the geriatric, Judes?'

Needless to say the room went very quiet, and Judes rushed out. I felt 
terrible.
A week later she came over and thanked me. "You made me realise what I 
was doing to myself" she said.

Yoiu make know when you are 'doing good' I simply do not know at all.

Don't talk 'facts' to a philosopher.
Very slippery things 'facts'. Especially those based on value judgements 
of a moral sort.

Perhaps your real problem is less that you are a suppressed paedophile, 
than that you Believe in the Truth Of Moral Compasses.

You are making a value judgment about yourself - which no one is in fact 
qualified to do - and claiming it as fact.

Why you would want to do that is an interesting psychological point. It 
shows more about how you want to be seen by others, than how you want to 
be in yourself.

And at that point I refer you back to Sir James Savile. knighted for his 
services to children's charities, and posthumously shown to be one of 
the most prolific paedophiles this country has ever seen.

Or that nice mister Rolf Harris. Every kids favourite knee. But 
subsequently shown to be dangerous around small children

There are people who in true humility go around doing what they think 
its right. Like the apocryphal story which only emerged decades later 
than when John Lennon's ex wife was strapped for cash and had to sell 
all his memorabilia, Paul McCartney bought them back and returned them 
to her.

There are people who wan to tell you who they are. And people who let 
you find out.

In general the first want you to believe something you would not 
otherwise believe.
