I ran it for a while. But spending much of a weekend recompiling KDE,
and then finding odd little glitches from, I think (assume) getting
dependencies wrong somewhere ... got a bit tedious after a while.

My customers mainly use Debian for servers. But I wanted something a
bit more exciting than rock-solid, boring, reliable Debian Stable on
my desktops. I discovered there was this thing called Debian Testing.
Sounds good, I thought.

Long story short, after a slight mixup with repo configuration, I
ended up on Debian Unstable. And there I have been ever since ...
