For many things, 300,000 is close enough.

Yes, there are times where the more accuracy the better.
But I've found that much of life follows what I call the
"5 percent" rule: if it's within 5 percent, the difference
isn't worth worrying about.  This works for everything from
back-of-the-envelope calculations to driving a car.
