I can use the "host" command and the result is that it can't look up the site: [~]# host auth.proofing.statefarm.com Host auth.proofing.statefarm.com not found: 3(NXDOMAIN) I am using a caching nameserver based on pdnsd and the problem must be somewhere in the configuration for that.
