Pdnsd allows me avoid the web tracking of ISP nameservers by directly querying the top-level root nameservers. The web site for pdnsd seems down but there is very recent information on ArchLinux: <https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Pdnsd> I will get this debugged. Right now it is not urgent but I will dig into it. IP has not changed and will not change. Therefore the pdnsd code will remain viable even without an active maintainer. If not, I can always temporarily, as needed, resort to dhcpcd with OpenDNS.
