I have been using pdnsd for a L-O-N-G time and there has never
been a problem until recently and then only with security
on commercial payment sites.

Pdnsd allows me avoid the web tracking of ISP nameservers
by directly querying the top-level root nameservers.

The web site for pdnsd seems down but there is very recent
information on ArchLinux:

I will get this debugged. Right now it is not urgent but
I will dig into it. IP has not changed and will not change.
Therefore the pdnsd code will remain viable even without
an active maintainer.

If not, I can always temporarily, as needed, resort to dhcpcd
with OpenDNS.
