I'll agree Roosevelt and his horse-faced wife were a disaster. When Mila 
Pavlichenko was sent to the US to try to shake loose aid she became 
Eleanor's BFF in short order. Considering who wore the pants in the family 
FDR complied.

Whatever the USSR did in regard to Japan was too little and very late.
