How about "hypercapitalism".  Or "extreme capitalism"?
After all, many problems are due to a potentially
good idea being taken to extremes.

And when the dirty old factories shut down, infrastructure started
decaying.  The problem with infrastructure is that no matter how
essential it might be, it's not sexy.  Nobody gets elected on
infrastructure - or unelected by neglecting it.
