They DID promise atomic-powered cars back when I was a little kid. Wonder what happened ? Did read about a few test roads where they bury magnetic coils - these, by inductive coupling, power the vehicle motor. Of course SOMEBODY has to pay for all that power ... ain't nothin' "free".
