I simply plonked him once and for all. Now there ARE some people who CAN pretty much write their own OS from scratch. This is not a bad thing at all, we NEED those kind of people. But when they expect EVERYBODY to have such skills and obsession or they're "no good/useless" then ... now we're into deep 'spectrum' or 'narcissism'. Hmmm ... once came across an episode of "Young Sheldon" where he went to the university prez and declared that "education" ONLY meant vast skill at math/sci and nobody else should get a diploma. Quantum mechanics or NOTHING. None others were 'smart' or 'educated' :-)
