I care about boot times for my main laptop, as I don't use the suspend or hibernate functionality. Once past the 5-second GRUB screen, it's 10 seconds until sddm gives the login prompt. The only downside is that sometimes a 90-second needless wait time occurs before shutdown. I shortened that a lot, but it came back. -- Law stands mute in the midst of arms. -- Marcus Tullius Cicero
