No, thanks. The update to 6.17 was bad enough. It's an old netbook with a 
Broadcom wifi chip and the dkms process would fail and it would revert to 
6.14. To even install I use a Panda USB wifi dongle. Once installed, the 
Mint driver manager was able to get a Broadcom driver. It had been working 
but not with 6.17. I was able to find a deb with one that worked. Oddly 
when troubleshooting the problem I got a lot of hits on Mac sites and I 
think that's where I finally found the update. 

I can't remember what I had on the netbook prior to Mint but it was the 
same cha-cha. Install with the dongle the iso recognized and then get the 
Broadcom driver.  I don't know if it's because it's from 2011 or if 
Broadcom support isn't up to par.
