   Linix printing HAS improved, considerably, over
   the past five years or so. NOW it usually "Just
   Works". Yay !

   Still couldn't get LibreOffice Writer to properly
   print a damned envelope though ... "good enough
   for the USPS" by abusing margins, but not ideal.

   Heh ... I made the "mistake" of mentioning to
   someone in my dental office about how it was
   going with their Great New Biz System. The
   response was something like SHOCK.

   Some glib salesman had sold them on their Great
   New Better System - but NOBODY could get it to
   work worth a damn. Disaster !

   However their IT guy IS happy ... he got paid
   to xfer their files over to the new system, and
   now AGAIN going back to the OLD system that
   actually worked  :-)

   Oh, the Great New System is called "Dolphin".
   Now they have a dart-board with a dolphin
   pic on it. Really.  :-)
