It's hard to disagree. When Google dropped their interface traffic dropped
remarkably. alt.home.repair seldom has anything on topic but there was a
Brit that I enjoyed who must have been using Google.

I was surprised earlier this year to find Google Groups is alive, not just
the interface. We started a Linux User Group in 2007 that fizzled out
rapidly. Someone who wanted to revive the LUG found it and I received an
email about a new post.

We decided Google wasn't a good idea and moved to Discord just in time for
the age verification panic. The next stop was Matrix/Element. Not my
favorite, but so it goes. I'd looked at stoat but being based in the UK it
is susceptible to the UK's campaign to reduce the aggregate web IQ to 57.
