The last video adapter I bought was an ATI Radeon 2400 but that was about 
15 years ago. The original card failed and all I could find locally were 
high end cards for gamers so it probably was the cheapest thing on Amazon. 
It worked.

That was the last build I did before deciding COTS boxes met my needs and 
were cheaper than DIY. The thrill of choosing mobos and components and 
hoping it would all work wore off. Everything I have now is either Intel 
or AMD integrated graphics. Works for me. TensorFlow would be happier with 
a GPU but it will fall back to a CPU, good enough for the toy models I 
work with.
