Your distro supplies systemd.  You could not use anything else.  Unless
your distro supplies it then you are completely lost and helpless.

You could never implement your own init system.  Never.

You support systemd because you could never implement anything else.
Never.

You are stuck with systemd and you are stuck with everything else that
your distro provides.
