   A few Linux distros do give you a boot-up CHOICE
   of SysV or systemd (MX notably).

   Even PiOS installs systemd (and fuckin' WAYLAND
   by default). You CAN change back to Xorg though,
   but the systemd STAYS. This is for TINY boards.

   Really beginning to pine for CP/M and DOS ...
   if they'd just do WiFi/Net .......
