Slackware doesn't use systemd. Let's not forget the OG of the Linux
world.

...and has both X11 and Wayland. The Xlibre one is in "testing". I'm
refering to Current. "startx" or "seatd-launch $COMPOSITOR". Or use a
greeter.

FreeDOS is DOSier than DOS and will network, providing you have a NIC
that it supports, or, run it under Qemu and connect it that way. You can
even use IRC with it. Just search for it, and download the image. MTCP
is already installed.
