It also requires the server to be up (which requires the provider to be
solvent and the infrastructure to be maintained) and the provider to
have legal rights to the content you're looking for, be incentivized to
offer it to you (be that through ad revenue, subacription, or commonly,
both,) and to not be run by jackass media executives prone to playing
games with one series's availability in hopes of boosting viewership
numbers for another series they think it might be competing with.
