The closest I came was some 'group therapy' sessions in grade school. Life 
lesson: don't be a wise-ass when the teacher hands out personality 
assessment questionnaires.  It may have been counterproductive since the 
rest of the group consisted of young hoodlums, or as close as you could 
get in a 1950s small town.

Probably. I was a late arrival and had an interesting childhood. Since I 
have a nephew about the same age as I my parents could well have been the 
parents of the parents of my classmates. My mother didn't think much of 
the Dr. Spock drivel that was 'the science' in the '50s. PTA meetings were 
interesting. She may have wanted to treat the other mothers to a good 
spanking.
