There is no news on the BookPort front.
While no firm date can be announced for the BookPort 2 -- I truly doubt 
that APH itself knows -- Pamela Rader, on the BookPort Support List,
did indicate that since, NLs is using a key authorization system, APH is 
investigating the possibility of being able to enable the BookPort Classic 
to read NLS digital audio books.
NO promises as this is under exploration to determine physical 
possibility.
This effort would suggest, however, that APH doesn't expect imminent 
release of the BookPort 2.
