Please can somebody tell me what this uses?

Greetings,

I have just downloaded what I thought would be an .mp3 sound file, from
Emusic.com, but it has an extension of .emp and I don't know what it needs
to play.  

Please can anybody advise me what it needs or what changes I need to make to
Winamp in order to play this file?

I also have media and real, can't remember which versions of media but the
latest real which can run with Windows ME.
