Word Perfect and I Universe Books

Hi All: I've got two questions. Is there a version of Word Perfect that will work on Windows Vista? If there is, do you know if documents created using it can be opened in either MS Word 2003 or MS Word 2007? Secondly, there is a publisher called I Universe that has electronic books available for download. Has anyone had experience downloading these books and are they accessible either via computer or on an MP3 player or a device like the Book Port or Victor Stream?
