Hi I am also in a google group and I have noticed a couple things: When I intend to post by replying, I have to use Reply / All Otherwise my reply goes only to the original poster, not to the whole list. I think I also remember some option during the signup process that allows me to check whether I want to see things I post to the list. I actually do want to see my own postings just to know they have been sent. Hope one fo these points is helpful.
