Here is a link for a free utility that will convert wma to mp3 format.

It will only convert legal wma files to mp3 however. What I mean by this 
is you may not be able to convert a wma file if you don't hold a license 
for it. In other words, if you are using Napster to download files 
(napster downloads in wma format) you will not be able to convert them 
if you didn't buy them. Use this tool. If it can't be converted it will 
tell you so and why it can't be converted.
