How the Reply function of a list like this works is entirely up to the list owner/moderator. It is more common with lists these days to reply to the whole list. On our mailing list when I click on the reply button in my Outlook Express the originator of the post address pops up in the address field. When I click on reply to all buttons the sender's address along with the address for the mailing list pops up. This is wonderful and this works like a charm. However I am on four or five more mailing lists and these buttons don't work the same way. It would seem not all reply and reply to all buttons on mailing list is created equal. When I click on reply the mailing list pops up in the address field then I have to go digging to find the original sender's address. Who is in control of the function of these two buttons? Can I make a change from my side of the monitor or is the buttons a function of the list owners. This issue has been pushing my buttons for some time now. ________________________________ Leave list: [email protected] VICUG-L is archived on the World Wide Web at http://listserv.i cors.or g/archives/vicug-l.html <http://listserv.icors.org/archives/vicug-l.html> Send questions on list operation to [email protected] VICUG-L is the Visually Impaired Computer User Group List.
