To: You need not only to get the voltage right (and the amount of current or power at least big enough) but also you must get the polarity right. A picture with a little circle inside a C with a line coming out from the little circle through the opening in the C and another line going in the opposite direction from
the opposite side of the C will have a + sign at the end of one line and
a - sign at the end of the other, showing the polarities needed for the inside and the outside conductors on the plug. These must be the same on the AC adapter as on the device on which it will be used.

Have a person with sight look near the power jack or on the bottom; it usually states the amount of volts and amps it needs for input.

"brick" for the old navigator 80 cell, braille display if some one has one

be willing to turn loose of?? Failing that can someone tell me what
amps-voltages it uses so I can try and find one.. Sure hate to fry this
thing..
