New topic: Cellular phone recommendations?

Hello, All!
    I'm just beginning my search for a new cellular phone with large enough 
buttons to feel my way around the keypad, a speaker phone feature, voice 
commands for the menu, the ability to store 10 or so numbers.  I currently have 
Sprint PCS and a rugged looking Sanyo unit.  As the technology seems to have 
changed a great deal, I'm looking for recommendations from others with low vision. 
The Sprint PCS website is a maze of far more choices than I'm familiar with.  
I'm not interested in text messaging, music, TV shows, or a camera.   Is there 
anything you can think of that offers just the basics? When I ask these 
questions to Sprint's online ecare customer service division, they tell me to go to 
a nearby Sprint store.  Fine, maybe later, but I'd like to read about them 
first, then have someone drive me there later or order one by telephone and have 
it delivered.  My current unit is probably five years old and I am no longer 
under any contractual obligation to Sprint. 
 
    My current Sprint plan is for 2,500 minutes from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. per 
month and 750 daytime minutes, plus free directory assistance. It costs $40 per 
month, plus tax.  I'm sure there are other plans with other companies that may 
have plans with the same or even better pricing. My goal, however, is to find 
a cellphone that works best for blind and low vision consumers, so I will 
gratefully accept all suggestions.
