question about multimedia encyclopedias on cd

Hi everyone,
For a number of years now I have wanted to purchase an encyclopedia on cd. I tried to research it at one time and just gave up, but I was wondering if anyone could give me any guidance in deciding which one to buy. I know the names of a few, but do not know the differences in each. I think there is Grolier's, compton, and Britanica. If anyone has any ideas or experience I would really appreciate your help and input. Thank you very much.
