Two E-mail Questions

Greetings,
1. When using Windows Mail in Windows Vista, I have tried to send an e-mail
by clicking on a "send Mail" link in my IE. I am told I cannot because the
e-mail client is not installed properly. What should I do about this?
2. Has anybody upgraded from Windows Mail to Windows Live Mail, and if so
does it work with Jaws?
