Hello Cheryll and others interested in this thread: Windows Defender is a free Microsoft product that will protect your computer against malicious code, Trojans, key logger programs tracking cookies and the such. Another comparable program is Spy- bot search and destroy. These two programs do not fight anti viruses. I use spy bot and am thinking about using defender. Kim Kamando recommends using two or more anti spy programs but never tow anti virus programs.
