Vista - Running DBT You may find when clicking on the DBT desktop icon that you get a message along the lines of you not being an administrator and therefore you cannot run the program. Try right clicking on the DBT Icon and select "Run as administrator". This page also explains how to get rid of those annoying messages asking for permission to do various things. -----Original Message----- From: Visually Impaired Computer Users' Group List [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of [email protected] Sent: Tuesday, February 05, 2008 11:18 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [VICUG-L] Disable user account control Hi listers, Can any one tell me how to turn off user account control in windows vista home premium?
