Hello Michael,

I'm not sure how complex your list is but for simple lists, I convert the
text to a table then sort the table and convert it back to text. To do
this:

Highlight the list
Under the table menu, select convert then text to table
In the box that comes up, I usually leave everything alone and just hit
enter. This creates a table with one column.
Go to Sort under the table menu. Since there is only one column, I leave
everything alone here tooand just hit enter
Now your table / list should be sorted. Go to Table, Convert, Table to
text. Again just leave everything alone and hit enter.
Now you should have a sorted list.

Hope this helps.
Sherry Wells

[VICUG-L] Alphabetical Order

Is MSWord capable of sorting lists into alphabetical order? If so, how is

it done?
