Hello All: Here's an update on the client that had the Internet Audio problem I told you about last week. Remember that I told you all I was working with a client that wants to listen to foxnewstalk.com. He goes to this site, presses enter on the Listen Live link and he doesn't get any sound. This site uses an Active X control that runs Windows Media Player. We first checked to see that his Windows Media Player is up to date, it is, Version 11. We checked his Internet Explorer 7 security settings and he has both "Run ActiveX Controls and Plug-ins" enabled, and "Script ActiveX Controls Marked Safe for Scripting" enabled. We went to Windows Update and installed all of his software updates, he had nine of them to do. This did not fix the problem. At this point, I am lost as to what to do. My client is in Baton Rouge, Louisianna. Does anyone know of someone that could go visit my client and help him figure out what is going on? If so, let me know and I'll pass on his comtact information.
