I suggest you look at the Microsoft Notebook Optical Mice. I
have the 3000 and my wife has the 4000 model. Both of us
have them on laptops. They are absolutely great! One click
and you have what essentially is a magnifying glass that
moves with the mouse.

I'm in the UK and got ours from Staples, so I imagine you'll
find them there in the USA and in a zillion other retailers.

Subject: [VICUG-L] advice on portable CCTVs

Hi All - Does anyone have experience with a portable
mouse-like CCTV that magnifies on a computer screen
(specifically, a laptop)? There is one sold by Freedom
Vision called Opti-Mouse. I use a TVi Color for the kitchen
to magnify on a TV screen, but I'm specifically looking for
something that works with the laptop screen.
Thanks.
Amy B.
